Deutz Heritage Poultry

Chickens are one of the great barnyard animals that make a farm complete. Chickens have been the “kids chores” for several generation on our farm, and we’ve kept that tradition alive. Today, our sons have taken a liking to chickens and care for our broilers and their small flock of laying hens. Like our pork, we feed a diverse diet and support our chickens being free-range in the summer, avoiding the cages some times use to raise chickens outdoors. This allows our chickens to exhibit more of their natural tendencies while also working double time as one of our natural fly and mosquito control methods.

Chickens are available during the summer months until we are sold out. Eggs are also available by request.

Whole Chickens are seasonally available for pre-order.
